Taking a break

Eternal rains are drenching the ground. I can barely walk. The earth is slowly swallowing everything: rocks, trees, me. All of the paths are gone, I don't recognise anything. This goddamn rain is like a curtain over my eyes, a misty cloth that's blurring the lines between night and day. I've been moving so slowly, crossing maybe ten miles in the past four days. Where am I going? Can I still remember?

Far away from the noise and all the city lights,
I needed four days of walking just to hide and enjoy the nights.
The fire crackles, warming my cold fingers,
in the middle of the forest, the storm lingers.
The only thing I can hear is the way nature breathes,
raindrops crashing down on the leaves...

...the only thing I can hear is your heart.

This is just a concept, a general idea, not a finished piece. If you pick this one up, the plan is to finish the sketch directly on the skin with Sharpies and only then continue with the tattooing.

My goal is to do more illustrative sketches, looser, less refined, less realistic. We'll see where that takes me 🐭 fingers crossed!
